Prospects!

I've got an interview! For a job that would be great! I don't want to fail publically again, but hey, might as well bask in little successes like getting an interview. Who's got interviewing tips for me? I need them by Monday.

This is a fun game.

1. Don't be late
2. Be neat and tidy
3. Smile and greet everybody warmly
4. Attempt to answer all questions, however odd, with an answer that seems relevant and makes the interviewer look good.
5. Come prepared with questions to ask them about themselves.
6. Don't ask about money.
7. Talk for about a minute and a half, not much more, not much less to substantial questions.

Just came back from an interview myself and heard a good presentation by one of my students also.

Hey Tony!

Long time no see. Thanks for the tips. Hope all's well with you. Are you in Korea still?

Yes,

Still teaching at a somewhat well-known university. Two children now, a second born about two weeks ago.

I just finished the second draft on the conclusion to a first academic book as well.

The interview was for a job in China, which I am mighty glad I wasn't keen enough for.
